How It Works
The initial chat will be a quick phone call to discuss what you're looking for (even if you aren't exactly sure yet) and go over any questions you may have.
We'll go over things like:

- your metal preference
- diamond shape
- style + design
- the timeline
- your desired budget
Our goals for the call is to get an overall idea of your vision and how we can set you up for success to get started.
STEP TWO
The Selection
With over 30+ years creating and customizing diamond engagement rings, we work with some of the most reputable diamond suppliers in Canada to curate and hand pick a selection of diamonds just for you.
We'll set up a virtual or in-person appointment to go over the selection, get your feedback and work together to find the perfect diamond.
Once you've picked out your dream diamond, we'll collect a deposit to secure it and start the design and customization.
step three
Your Ring, Your Way
Once we've decided on the diamond, we can start working on the design. Whether it's an existing style, something you've seen elsewhere or a custom design, we will work together to create your desired style and add any personalizations you may want (engravings, halo/hidden halos, adding a birthstone, etc).
We will then send you a digital rendering of the ring, get your approval and begin production. The process will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Once the ring is complete we will notify you, package it in a beautiful box along with its appraised value.

What Are Lab-Grown Diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds are just as real as natural diamonds in all their characteristics such as shape, size, colour and clarity. They even come with a diamond certification, the same way a natural diamond would.
While it is true they are extremely similar to natural diamonds, there are some slight differences that cannot be seen to the average person.
Do I Purchase The Ring Online?
Dainty Diamond currently offers a wide array of pre-made engagement ring styles. If you find something you like you can purchase the ring through our online website.
We know buying an engagement ring is an exciting and big purchase, if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our diamond experts.
How Do I Know The Quality of My Lab Diamond?
We work with some of the finest diamond dealers in the greater Toronto area. We can assure you we are only dealing with Lab Grown diamonds that are DEFGH in color and VSI/VS2 in clarity.
We always provide GIA certificate with purchase.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Ring?
All our diamond rings are made to order and can take anywhere from 15 to 21 business days to be made prior to shipping. We always recommend starting the process as early as possible to ensure your timeline is met.

Do Couples Shop Together or Just One Person?
This is completely based on personal preference! Some couples like to shop together, some want to come alone. Totally up to you.

We recommend trying your best to find out the required ring size ahead of time, while adjustments can be made it’s much easier to get it right the first time.

With every engagement ring sold, we offer an appraisal with the shipment of your ring in order to get it properly insured.
