You Said 'I Do': Livi & Laurent
Real wedding stories from real people

Some love stories begin quickly, while others start in the most unexpected, serendipitous moments, like the summer trip in Israel that turned into a life-changing moment for Liv & Laurent.
Despite growing up in the same neighbourhood and crossing paths through mutual friends, the two officially connected in the summer of 2019.
Liv had just wrapped up a summer internship and decided to extend her stay one more week. During that same time, Laurent happened to be in the same place, visiting friends. And when they happened to cross paths this time, they connected differently. "That's when we really got to know each other," Liv recalls. "It felt like something shifted," and their relationship began.
Fast forward to today, and Liv & Laurent are celebrating six years together this June.
When asked what they love most about one another, their answers are telling. "Laurent leads with kindness," Liv says. "He listens with intention, loves deeply and brings a quiet calm to even the most uncertain moments. He's thoughtful in a way that makes you always feel safe. And yes - his smile, hazel eyes, and freckles are definitely a bonus!"
For Laurent, it's Liv's energy that drew him in. "She has this bold, magnetic spirit. She's fearless in the way she moves through the world, and she brings people in without even trying," He said. "Her big, beautiful green eyes don't hurt either."
A Moment to Remember
When looking back on the big day, the couple agrees that "their ceremony was deeply meaningful - standing there with each other and feeling the warmth and support from the people we love the most," they said. And then… the dancing! The energy in the room was electric. It felt like life in its fullest, happiest form. A feeling we want to relive again and again.”
A Symbol of Forever
When it came to choosing their rings, Liv and Laurent wanted something classy, sleek, timeless and meaningful. They said "it reflects who we are as a couple: strong, solid and always bringing out each other's shine."
Liv went with a classic Round Diamond Partial Eternity Ring set in Yellow Gold, while Laurent went with a 5mm Yellow Gold Bevelled Edge Wedding Band.

Advice for Other Couples
Their advice for other couples planning a wedding? Stay rooted in what the day is truly about.
“It's easy to get caught up in the little details,” Liv says. “But what lasts is the feeling, the love, the people and the spirit. Make space to soak it all in. Be present with each other. At the end of the day, you're there to celebrate your love; that's the heart of it all.
